University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis has a “one fee” approach to annual student fees wherein a single student fee is assessed to cover costs in a range of areas not covered under tuition, room and board charges.

These areas include but are not limited to orientation and graduation, student activities and cultural enrichment, and laboratory expenses.

The Annual Student Fee does not include additional expenses that vary based on options chosen by the student (i.e., housing, parking, etc.).

UHSP offers a number of meal plans to meet the needs and budgets of our undergraduate students. Review the floor plans and amenities you’ll find in our undergraduate residence halls.

Additional Items to Consider

Laptop Purchases

In addition to annual fees and expenses, students who are new to the University are responsible for the purchase of a laptop through the University’s online storefront. Laptop prices range from approximately $1,200-$1,500, depending on student selections. Once purchased, the laptop belongs to the student, and it may be replaced at the student’s discretion. Returning students should talk with the Information Technology Department for buyout options of their current leased laptop.

Student Health Insurance

Students are required to maintain health insurance coverage. Each year, students who do not waive health insurance coverage by the published deadline will be assessed fees for health insurance.
