The Difference is Real
Founded in 1864, St. Louis College of Pharmacy was the first pharmacy school west of the Mississippi River. And, we’ve been leading the way ever since, educating the innovators who drive the quality of health care locally, nationally and globally.
Now known as University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, UHSP is dedicated to educating the whole student with a challenging curriculum taught through the lens of health care. We offer undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees preparing students for a variety of health professions careers.

Through individual laboratories and our academic and research centers, faculty members collaborate with students in the pursuit of health care breakthroughs. Many students begin conducting research in their first undergraduate year.
