Building Your Community

Engaging in academic pursuits and exploring personal passions are essential parts of the college experience. In fact, studies show that students involved in curricular and cocurricular activities earn higher GPAs and report higher satisfaction with their college experience. UHSP’s friendly, tight-knit culture provides the perfect setting for students to explore new interests.

Outside the classroom, student activities give you a chance to discover your niche while developing leadership skills that will grow with you into your career. Working toward something bigger than yourself, networking and learning new skills are just a few ways that getting involved on campus can help you achieve your goals. Along the way, you’ll build friendships that will last a lifetime.

A Spirit of Service

As an institution dedicated to improving health care at home and abroad, UHSP has been giving back to our communities since the very beginning. Here, you’ll find a variety of opportunities to serve others in ways that express your values and enhance your education.
