An Extraordinary Legacy
Founded in 1864, UHSP was founded as St. Louis College of Pharmacy, becoming one of the first colleges of pharmacy chartered west of the Mississippi River. More than 160 years later, our students and faculty have played an integral role in the advancement of health care education in the U.S. and worldwide.
Through times of war, economic depression and pandemic, we have persevered and triumphed with innovation, evolution and a pioneering spirit. Our constant pursuit of excellence, insatiable curiosity and commitment to our students and community have always been the guiding light for our growth and expansion.
