Collaborative Curriculum

Discover a program designed to prepare you for diverse career paths in pharmacy.

Our integrated curriculum coordinates your lecture topics with your labs so what you learn continues to build upon itself each academic year. This allows you to apply your didactic knowledge throughout your student pharmacist experience and explore pharmacy topics through elective focus areas in clinical services, community care, public health and research, and during rotations.

Expansive Experiential Learning

Benefit from one of the most extensive rotation selections in the Midwest, including local, national and international rotations, designed for you to find your niche. Our experiential learning curriculum encourages you to hone your skills through hands-on learning and experiences in a variety of practice settings under the guidance of our extensive preceptor network.

Beginning in the first year of the program, experiential rotations provide you with  experiences to put what you have learned into practice, and you’ll gain insight into subspecialties that may inspire a career you didn’t even know you were passionate about.

Advocating for Pharmacy

St. Louis College of Pharmacy is an institution dedicated to improving health care at home and abroad, and embodies this mission by advocating on behalf of the pharmacy profession wherever it can.

The college is a proud supporter of  We’re Your Pharmacist, a national campaign from American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) creating awareness about the many ways pharmacists contribute to patient care and public health.

Each spring, student pharmacists take part in the Missouri Pharmacy Association’s Legislative Day to educate lawmakers and citizens on issues affecting pharmacy and the essential role pharmacists play in health care. In the fall, students celebrate the institution’s founding with a dedicated day of giving back to the St. Louis community.
