Master of Public Health Curriculum
The Master of Public Health program at UHSP can be completed in as little as 16 months.
During the program, students will engage in innovative learning opportunities led by renowned expert faculty from the University’s College of Global Population Health where they will expand their knowledge of public health principles while developing skills in data analytics, program planning, system thinking and entrepreneurship.
Program Concentrations
Students can customize their curriculum to fit their interests by choosing between a generalist or epidemiology concentration.
Applied Practice Experience
The program culminates with a three-credit hour applied practice experience which allows students to take the knowledge and skills learned through coursework and apply them in a work setting. Students can opt to complete this internship with their current employer or work with faculty to identify opportunities with partnering organizations such as health departments, non-profits and health care systems.
