There’s so much support here at UHSP. I was able to personalize my experience because my professors and coaches were so approachable and supportive of everything I was doing. I think this is one of the best places for students because you can make the experience your own and there will be professors, coaches, students and teammates that will support you all along the way.

Many college freshmen don’t get to start on a team right away, and the time commitment for sports at a large university can limit the majors you can choose from. For student athletes who are interested in a health care program or a health care career, I think that UHSP is a good school for you. You get to keep doing what you like in athletics, and you can be a health care provider in the future.

I chose UHSP because I knew I wanted to be a pharmacist and it was so close to home. Coming from a small town where everyone knows and cares for each other, I was comforted to feel that same vibe here.
