sponsor a white coat
What is the White Coat Ceremony?
The White Coat Ceremony is one of our most beloved campus traditions serving as an important milestone that marks a student’s transition into the pharmacy program and their start as an official student pharmacist.
Each fall, members of the UHSP community show their support for these students by sponsoring a white coat and sharing thoughtful notes of encouragement and advice for students to open and read when they receive their white coat.
Steps to Sponsor a White Coat
Help welcome the next generation of student pharmacists into the profession with a gift to the White Coat Ceremony. With your gift, you may submit a personalized note of encouragement that will be placed in the pocket of a student’s white coat for them to read during the ceremony.
STEP 1
Make Your White Coat Gift
Gifts to the White Coat Ceremony underwrite expenses of the event, including the actual white coats bestowed to students.
STEP 2
Share an Encouraging Note
Share a note of encouragement and/or advice. Notes will be placed in the pocket of students’ white coats to open and read the weekend of the ceremony.
STEP 3
Designate a Student (optional)
You can designate your message to a specific student or your message can be shared with any student in the white coat class.
