NACE Career Ready Competencies

The National Association of Colleges and Employers is the leading source for information on the employment of the college educated. NACE defines "career readiness" as "the attainment and demonstration of competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace."

These competencies include critical thinking and problem solving, communication, teamwork and collaboration, digital technology, leadership, professionalism and work ethic, career management, and global and intercultural fluency.

Whether you are looking for more information on health care trends and changes or are seeking accredited courses through the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the Center for Career Services and Education will connect you to the resources you are looking for.

Continuing Education

The center collaborates with the Office of Postgraduate Education to offer continuing education (CE) courses for pharmacists, nurses and pharmacy technicians in all specialties. The University also collaborates with professional organizations to host events on campus and in the region to provide further accredited educational opportunities.

Accreditation

All of the University’s CE courses for pharmacists are accredited by ACPE. Collaborating with the ACPE and National Association Boards of Pharmacy, the University submits continuing pharmacy education credit directly through CPE Monitor, making it easy for you and your employers to track your credit.
