Take the first step in the graduate admissions process and apply today. Follow our step-by-step guide to make applying to graduate school simple and easy. 

Step 1: APPLY to your desired program

Apply online at uhsp.edu/apply. 


Step 2: Submit Transcripts

Submit your Official Transcripts. 

Your official transcripts should be sent directly from the issuing institution to UHSP.

Step 3: Submit Documents

Submit additional documents as requested. Throughout the application review process, supplemental items may be requested. If needed, we’ll contact you to guide you through the next steps. Additional materials can include:

  • Resume or CV 
  • Personal Statement 
  • Letter of Academic Recommendation.

International Student Applicants

Students residing outside the United States who are applying for admission to a graduate program should submit TOEFL scores of at least a 90 internet-based score. Additional documents and degree verifications may be requested.

Complete your FAFSA 

Your FAFSA will open opportunities for federal student loans to help fund your education.

Complete Additional Enrollment Tasks*

Your New Student Portal, will list additional enrollment tasks as they become available throughout the year, including: 

  • Activate Your University Email  
  • Purchase Your Course Materials 
  • Submit Required Immunizations and Health Screenings

*Note: some steps will become available after you receive access to your UHSP email.
