Tell us about yourself.
My husband and I have been married for 34 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I listen to all types of music and love to attend concerts and travel. I can’t help but express my creativity, so I spend a lot of time crafting and decorating for the holidays. Hosting gatherings for my friends and family brings me a lot of joy. My friends call me “the hostess with the mostest.”
What does a typical day look like for you?
At home, my dog Ziggy is my alarm clock. He gets me up by 5 a.m. every day. This gives me time to get ready for work and do some household chores before I head to campus. Other than that, my days are always different depending on the needs of our campus community! After my 45-minute commute home, I make sure to take Ziggy on a post-dinner walk.
What are you most passionate about?
I’m passionate about living my best life possible and taking care of the people I love. My family is the most important thing to me. I am proud to be the glue that keeps my family together.
What’s the best part about working at UHSP?
The people are great! I am very fortunate to be able to interact with faculty, staff and students. I have seen many students come in as first-years, graduate and then return to work at UHSP. It is so rewarding to be a part of their journey!
What do you want students and the campus community to know about parking and access services?
I am here to serve you! I can be of assistance with ID badge replacement, on- and off-campus parking, key and badge access, visitor parking and much more.
