Preceptors are typically practicing, licensed pharmacists who play a vital role in the education of our pharmacy students, but they are so much more than teachers.
Successful preceptors facilitate a learning experience in which students take greater responsibility for their own learning, develop trusting relationships, foster respect, cultivate professionalism, promote cultural sensitivity and encourage learning.
Benefits of Precepting
