Title IX, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Relationship Violence and Stalking
University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is committed to maintaining a safe community where sexual misconduct, relationship violence and stalking is not tolerated.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination in any educational program or activity and requires institutions receiving federal funding from the Department of Education to provide equal opportunities on the basis of sex or gender.
Title IX also requires the University to respond appropriately to any incidents of sexual harassment, assault and misconduct in order to protect the safety of the campus community.
In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the University does not tolerate discrimination against students, faculty or staff and is committed to responding promptly to formal complaints of sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence incidents and other discriminatory incidents.
Through prevention and response training, we are cultivating a climate of empowerment and education to help prevent incidents and protect the health and safety of our campus community.
