About the Agreement
Cost
For each Teach-Out Student transitioning to Columbia College from UHSP, the applicable undergraduate per-student net tuition to complete required courses for graduation from Columbia College will be comparable to or less than what the Teach-Out Student paid at UHSP during the 2025-26 academic year, with per-student net annual tuition increasing by no more than 5% in all subsequent years.
Credit Transfer
Columbia College will accept 100% of all credits that have been granted or accepted in accordance with transfer, advanced placement, international baccalaureate, or dual credit policies by UHSP and guarantee admission to UHSP Teach-Out Students in good academic standing as defined by Columbia College.
Columbia College defines “good academic standing” for undergraduate students as 2.0 GPA and the student is not on academic probation, academic continued probation, academic suspension or dismissal.
Athletics
Columbia College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Collegiate Athletic Conference for athletic programs. If interested, student athletes from UHSP can be considered for recruitment opportunities to join Columbia College athletic teams as any other new student.
