Students have the opportunity to work alongside faculty from across the institution to conduct research in a variety of areas, including public health, pharmaceutics, pharmacoeconomics, aging, infectious diseases and health literacy.
Undergraduate Research Scholars Program
Through a competitive selection process, students can receive scholarship support and have the opportunity to participate in mentor-led research that can help them build skills for research-based careers.
The Undergraduate Research Scholars program is designed to give students an early introduction to lab work while fostering their passion for science and seeing if research is a field they want to pursue.
Summer Research Scholars Program
The Center for Clinical Pharmacology, located in the University’s Academic and Research Building, was established in partnership with Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and offers students immersive research experiences through the Summer Research Scholars Program, a program that introduces University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis students to research in pharmacology, neuropharmacology and neuroscience under the guidance of faculty mentors.
TL1 Predoctoral Clinical Research Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
In addition to the research opportunities offered at the University, students can also participate in research at other area institutions, including the summer TL1 Predoctoral Clinical Research Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
The program provides career development for medical, pharmacy and allied health care students through coursework, mentored training and research.
