What is Pre-Dentistry?
Pre-dentistry isn’t an actual degree. It is a set of designated coursework you take in your undergraduate education to prepare you for your DMAT and dental school. Pre-Dentistry Coursework
Pre-dentistry coursework at UHSP prepares you with the necessary prerequisites for applying for entry into a dental school program.
Bachelor’s Degree
Complete a bachelor’s degree in the program of your choice as long as it meets the necessary prerequisites for dental school entry.
Integrated B.S. and DMD/DDS
Some programs may enable you to earn two degrees in conjunction, saving you time and tuition. Integrated options vary by institution.

Sciences
Through a partnership between UHSP and A.T. Still University (ATSU) Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, you will benefit from three interview spots reserved for UHSP students each year. ATSU’s Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program features an innovative curriculum that integrates core disciplines into the human systems, preclinical and dental sciences with a strong emphasis on the application of clinical medicine and clinical dentistry.
