Make an Impact

Making a difference is one of the most satisfying aspects of a career in health. At St. Louis College of Pharmacy, giving back to the community has been a part of our DNA since our founding — it is a part of our culture, our curriculum and our student experience.

For more than 160 years, members of our community have been coming together to participate in a variety of service and outreach activities. Today, our students, faculty, staff and alumni continue to volunteer thousands of hours every year in activities that improve society.

Legislative Day

Every year, pharmacy students travel to Jefferson City to educate Missouri lawmakers and citizens on issues affecting pharmacy and health care, as well as the essential role pharmacists play in community health.

Paths to Discovery

At St. Louis College of Pharmacy, students have a front-row seat to cutting-edge research and the opportunity to join in the process. Research is part of who we are, which means we ensure our students can engage in meaningful research alongside expert faculty and clinicians at every level of their academic career if they want to.

Take the Stage

We know life as a student is not all science classes and lab work. Each fall and spring, students take the stage to showcase their talents in music and theater. Students, along with faculty and staff, are all encouraged to participate, whether it is on the stage, in the pit or behind the scenes. Students get the full theater experience from top tier costume and set design to a state-of-the-art performance space in the Academic and Research Building auditorium.
