Media Access

University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is located within the Washington University Medical Campus. While we are a private institution, we welcome media to our campus, and our goal is to make your visit as effective and productive as possible. 

Media wishing to cover campus events, or report on stories or conduct interviews at the University are asked to contact the Office of Marketing and Communications to make arrangements in advance. This will allow us to facilitate parking, building access or other resources you may need. Once on the University grounds, our team will escort media to their desired location on campus and remain onsite to provide assistance as needed. 

Please note, media access to residence halls is prohibited. Entry to classrooms, offices, labs, conference rooms, etc. is limited, but can be arranged based on availability. 

Decisions regarding media access are the purview of the administration, as delegated to the Office of Marketing and Communications. The Office of Marketing and Communications may, in its discretion, limit or preclude outside news media access to campus grounds with or without prior notice, including, but not limited to, emergency situations or failure to comply with University policies. 

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to manage media access in order to protect our learning environment and the privacy rights of our students, faculty, staff and visitors.
