Women’s Giving Society

The Women’s Giving Society(WGS) is a group of alumnae, pharmacy professionals and community leaders invested in making an impact on the lives of students at UHSP. By joining resources, members contribute to the academic and personal well-being of students by supporting programs that provide opportunities to enhance their professional and personal skills.

Programs supported by the society have included: student research; the student emergency fund; and professional development opportunities like conferences, international rotations and career development programs.

Join us in supporting the next generation of health care leaders. All gifts are greatly appreciated, and dollars raised each calendar year will support students during the following academic year. Those who donate $1,000+ during the calendar year are considered voting members and are invited to meet each January to determine how the funds raised from the previous year will be used.

  • Invitation to WGS-sponsored social and professional development events throughout the year
  • Donors who give at the $1,000+ level annually receive free or reduced admission to WGS-sponsored events and will be recognized as a part of the University’s Mortar and Pestle Society
  • Opportunities to network with fellow women leaders interested in philanthropy
  • Ability to directly impact the lives of students
  • Satisfaction of knowing you are a part of an empowered group of women who desire to make a difference in the lives of UHSP students
