On April 15, after 10 years of dedicated service to University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, President John A. Pieper announced his plans to retire at the end of the 2020-21 academic year.
With immense gratitude for President Pieper’s leadership and contributions to the University, the Board of Trustees has embarked on a presidential search for the University’s fifth president.
In consultation with the Board of Trustees Executive Committee, Elaine Haynes, B.S. ’86, President and CEO of KaloCyte Inc. and former chair of the Board, appointed Paul Beahm, B.S. ’85, senior vice chair of the Board, to lead the search committee.
While the responsibility for hiring a president for University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis ultimately resides with the Board of Trustees, the Board recognizes and deeply values the University community. Throughout the search process, the Board is committed to stakeholder participation that ensures the representation of students, alumni, faculty and staff.
