Suzanne Bollmeier, B.S. ’99, Pharm.D. ’00, BCPS, AE-C, FCCP, professor of pharmacy practice at St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and Andrew Crannage, Pharm.D. ’08, BCPS, FCCP, associate professor of pharmacy practice at the College, recently achieved Fellowship in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). Fellowship is awarded to individuals who have made sustained contributions to ACCP and have demonstrated exceptional performance in clinical pharmacy practice or research.

Bollmeier works with ACCP writing and reviewing chapters for the Pharmacotherapy Self-Assessment Program, which is part of the ACCP’s continuing education series for board certified pharmacotherapy specialists. She has also presented at annual meetings and contributed poster presentations throughout her time with the ACCP.

Outside ACCP, Bollmeier has served as the primary investigator on a statewide Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease study. She has also published numerous review articles and book chapters related to pulmonary medicine.

“It was an honor just to be nominated for the distinction,” Bollmeier said. “I’m truly humbled to join the ranks of such esteemed colleagues in clinical pharmacy.”

Crannage has been involved with ACCP since he was a pharmacy resident. He was recently part of a task force created to develop and publish guidelines for residency teaching certificate programs. He also served as vice chair of the committee that published the 2016 ACCP Pharmacotherapy Didactic Curriculum Toolkit, which is used by pharmacy schools in the United States and internationally to aid in the development of pharmacy curricula.

Outside ACCP, Crannage practices internal medicine at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He has also published research on a range of topics including nephrology, pedagogy and patient safety.

“It is extremely humbling to be associated with this group of individuals that I have always looked up to and admired,” Crannage said. “This is one of the great recognitions of my professional career.”
