Physics Education Research

Current Research

Our group's current research focuses on improving the Physics I and II courses by looking at assessment practices as well as the courses' relationships to the health sciences. We currently have undergraduate research students working on 5 current projects. Some of these projects entail creation of new material to add more biological elements to the course and other projects are looking at student responses to assessments to determine how assessments can be improved in the future.
