The University is working to ensure critical services are available in-person for faculty, staff and students while allowing for flexibility in staffing. Campus remains open and departments across campus are using a combination of in-person and online service delivery.

Office of Financial Aid

A financial aid representative is available in-person Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. (CST). We are available virtually through Microsoft Teams or telephone appointments Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00 p.m. (CST). Please submit meeting requests and general financial aid inquiries to financialaid@uhsp.edu.

The Office of Admissions will be available to conduct normal business in person or virtually. Our office is open normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. We are also available via email at admissions@uhsp.edu or by calling our office at 314.446.8318.

For those seeking to visit campus, we are offering virtual or in person campus tours facilitated. Reservations are available at Visit Campus (uhsp.edu).

Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

In person hours are available 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekdays (M,T,R,F) and virtual meetings are available on Wednesdays. Additional hours are available during events and programs. Center for Career Services and Education
Regular, in-person hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Hours and appointments on Fridays are online/remote.  Additionally, the office may be open during events and programs at other times. Academic Affairs
Students should stay in close virtual contact though Moodle and their University email with their instructors to determine how their coursework will be completed this semester. Each member of the University’s faculty has developed individualized plans for the online delivery of their courses to support students in meeting course outcomes.

Students can expect much of this work to be asynchronous, that is, they will get instructions from their instructor and may do the work on their own time. Some work and exams will be synchronous, and students should defer to their instructors for guidance.

Students can expect that they may be invited to meet virtually through Skype, forums, chat rooms, etc. Faculty may post PowerPoint slides and/or videos for students to view. There are many options available for students to complete certain labs virtually and lab instructors will be sending instruction about which labs will be completed and how that will be accomplished virtually.

Business Office

The Business Office window is open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are still available for questions outside of these hours and encourage students to utilize the contacts below.

Other Important Information

  • When our front window is not open, students can continue to send in check payments through the mail, drop checks through the mail slot next to the Business Office, or make payments online via credit/debit or ACH. There is a 2.49% fee for credit/debit card payments and a flat $1.50 fee for ACH payments.
  • Any new reimbursement or invoice requests, if possible, should be emailed to the AP accounts noted above to ensure timely payment. We will not be in the office to receive mail on a daily basis, so any items sent through interoffice communications or by mail may be delayed.
We are here to help and will work diligently to address your individual needs.
Office of Information Technology
IT support will be available as follows:
  • Technical Support Center: In-Person Support available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Phone/Virtual support available from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
  • Academic Technology: Virtual support will be available from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
  • The College has partnered with FedEx to create a printing solution students can utilize while off campus. Students can submit print jobs online through FedEx and bill them to their student account. Completed print jobs can be picked up in store or they can be mailed directly to you.
  • Students should refer to email correspondence or contact library staff at library@uhsp.edu for process questions and the student account code.
  • When students are ready to print, contact Jameka Holton at 314.780.5261 or jameka.holton@fedex.com for assistance in setting up a username and password with FedEx.
IT support tickets may be submitted through IssueTrak.
Office of Public Safety
The University's public safety team will continue to maintain safety and security on campus.
  • Public Safety will be present on campus 24/7.
  • All doors will be on card access Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • We are suspending escort requests provided by Public Safety, but we are happy to help coordinate a ride from Uber.

Facilities Services
  • Maintenance and housekeeping staff will be present on campus seven days a week.
  • Office cleaning and trash removal will be suspended so we can focus on cleaning and disinfecting common areas.
  • Beginning this semester, on-campus students may pick up their packages via the Student Receiving Window located on the first floor of the South Residence Hall. Packages will be available to pick up 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. -3 p.m. on Saturday. The window will be closed on Sunday.
  • Mail services have changed with incoming mail being sorted and placed in the departmental mail folders located at the front desk of ARB daily. All catalogs and obvious junk mail will be recycled. Presorted outgoing mail service is scheduled to pick-up on Friday.
Library Services
  • Current library hours can be found on the library's home page. Library staff may be reached at 314.446.8361 or at library@uhsp.edu.
  • The majority of the library’s assets are available in electronic format which will be available through the library’s secure website.

Human Resources

Human Resources personnel are on campus Monday through Friday during core hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with additional hours most days.  We are using a combination of in-person and remote staffing in the department.  If you need in-person services please stop by or contact us to set up an appointment to be sure we can serve you.  General questions can be sent to hr@uhsp.edu.
