Changes on Campus
The University has adapted physical spaces on campus to support physical distancing while also maintaining an environment for growth, learning and socialization.
To help protect the health of the campus community and prevent the spread of the virus, campus spaces have been reconfigured to align with social distancing recommendations.
Furniture has been placed strategically to provide six feet of space between people. To ensure tables, chairs, desks and other items remain at a safe distance, please keep them in their exact location.
Clear barriers and stanchions have been put in place to help maintain a safe distance. Stanchions have been placed six feet apart to help indicate how far to separate from the next person while in line for the café.
Capacity has been reduced in all campus spaces to allow people to spread out and maintain a safe distance away from one another.
Whenever possible, please remain in your same workspace, desk and chair to reduce the risk of transmission.
Buildings and furniture are cleaned daily, but please notify the Office of Public Safety at 314.446.SAFE (7233) if you notice a campus space that needs immediate attention.
