This program will be offered beginning in fall 2022 pending final approval by our regional accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission.
About the Program
The health care administration and management program prioritizes project-based learning to allow you to actively practice the skills learned in the classroom. Jobs in health administration are expected to grow significantly over the next 10 years offering students the opportunity to enact change and make a difference for patients on a large scale.
After graduation, you’ll be ready to jumpstart your career as a hospital or health administrator, health services manager and nursing home manager. Your undergraduate education can also serve as the foundation for graduate or advanced study in business, health management and health care leadership.
In our health care administration and management program, you’ll build the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, including the ability to:
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills with regards to a range of health care issues
- Create and articulate clean plans for strategic change
- Demonstrate robust quantitative decision-making skills
- Describe and explain a wide range of concepts related to health care
