New Medications Webinar

St. Louis College of Pharmacy faculty members Dr. Goldie Peters, associate professor of pharmacy practice, and Dr. Erin Hennessey, Pharm.D. ’11, associate professor of pharmacy practice, will review new medications during this one-hour virtual program, "A Year in Review: Highlights of Newly Approved Medications." The program has been approved for 1-hour of live continuing education credit for pharmacists. Click here to read about the ACPE accreditation.  

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:
1. Identify new molecular and biological entities that entered the U.S. drug market in the past year (excluding diagnostic compounds).
2. Describe each agent’s mechanism of action, dosage, adverse reactions, contraindications, and drug interaction profile.
3. List special patient instruction and monitoring parameters for each of these agents.

Time: 1 p.m. CDT. 
Cost: Free for alumni; $10 for non-alumni
