New Student Orientation
Congratulations on your acceptance into University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis!
New Student Orientation is your first introduction to UHSP as an official student. You are now a part of our campus community and orientation is an important piece of learning about that community and your role.
During orientation, you will have the opportunity to:
- Get acquainted with the University and your classmates
- Learn more about what to expect, policies and procedures, meal plans, parking, campus safety, campus technology, academic rigors, etc.
- Get to know our campus culture and learn more about the University's values and traditions
First-Year Summer Orientation
Your health and safety is important to us. Because of ongoing social distancing efforts, we have made the decision to hold orientation online.
During online orientation, you’ll meet your classmates, connect in virtual communities, interact with faculty and staff and learn more about campus life.
Students may choose to complete one of the following virtual orientation sessions:
- May 18 | 6-9 p.m.
- June 5 | 1-4 p.m.
- June 22 | 1-4 p.m.
- July 20 | 1-4 p.m.

Week of Welcome
Week of Welcome is a continuation of orientation for first-year students. The week provides students with the opportunity to participate in fun activities, make new friends, and learn more about campus resources and academic expectations.
Aug. 11-14 | Various Times
Attendance is required throughout the week, so please save the date in your calendar.
All undergraduate and professional transfer students are required to attend Transfer Orientation.
- August 11 | 8-5 p.m.

All students entering the Doctor of Pharmacy program are required to attend Professional Orientation.
August 12-13 | 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Students are required to complete Basic Life Support Training prior to the first day of classes. Basic Life Support Training can be incorporated into orientation or completed during the summer.

Registering for Classes
In order to register for classes during New Student Orientation, you must complete all requirements for admission and enrollment and pay your enrollment deposit.
